The Powerforce line of balancers are intended for non-SFI high performance applications. Although primarily meant for street use, these balancers are also suitable for racing applications where there is no requirement to meet SFI specifications.
It is not recommended to use these balancers in excess of 6,500RPM. Also, they are not recommended for marine or circle track applications due to excessive heat generated. While high temp elastomer is used in every balancer, certain applications are not suitable
This is the most popular 8" diameter balancer for the SB Chevy. This balancer is similar to the GM malleable iron 8" balancer (364709) except it is made of tough nodular iron on both the hub and ring. This is the best 8" balancer available for an internally balanced SB Chevy.
